linux mint os 설치

지인에게 안쓰는 netbook을 얻어서 Linux mint를 설치해봤다. LG xnote인데 keyboard 설정에 문제가 있었기 때문에 다음에 헤매지 않도록 정리해놓는다.

다운로드 페이지에서 민트 리눅스를 iso(이미지 파일)을 다운로드 받는다.

다음에 이 블로그에서 설명하는데로 iso파일을 이용해 booting usb를 만든다.

설치할 장비에가서 usb를 꽂은 후 booting한다. 부팅할 때 부팅 순서는 usb를 최우선으로 해놓아야 usb image로 부팅할 수 있다.

위의 블로그를 참고하여 USB 장치의 부팅을 1순위(+키눌러서 변경)로 바꾼 후 f10을 눌러 저장 후 재시작한다.

그 다음 설치 과정은 그냥 다음 키만 누르면 된다.

LG xnote에 설치할 때 keyboard가 안먹는 현상이 있었는데 여기를 보고 해결했다. 노트북의 keyboard가 안되기 때문에 usb 키보드를 연결해서 진행했다.

I found a working solution to the problem.

You need to edit the file /etc/default/grub
$ sudo gedit /etc/default/grub
Go to the line GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash" and edit it to:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash i8042.nopnp=1 i8042.dumbkbd=1"
Update grub
$ sudo update-grub
Reboot your computer.

재시작하니 keyboard가 되기 시작했는데 문제는 한글이 안된다는 것 그래서 찾아봤는데 nabi를 깔아주면 된다.
